dc.description.enThe training of Bodhicitta’s practice and the understanding of emptiness are effective preliminaries to Tantra. The Vajrayana path traditionally begins with five introductory practices, common to all Tibetan Buddhism schools: one hundred thousand prostrations to the Three Jewels, one hundred thousand recitations of taking Refuge, one hundred thousand recitations of Vajrasattva mantra, one hundred thousand Mandala offerings, one hundred thousand recitations of Guru Yoga mantra. These recitations take place in a context of meditation, with visualizations that aim to purify the mind of negative karma, accumulate positive merit and to predispose for the correct practice of yidam tantric practice.it_IT
